Dr. A.B.T. Zakariah, the leader of the Delegation expressed satisfaction with the performance of the team, noting that βthe Teamβs performance was one of the few occasions that UDS was put so much in the spotlight.β He hinted that the games also afforded the opportunity for the University to discuss a possible collaboration to mount a Master of Science in Sports programme.
The Vice-Chancellor, Prof, G.A. Teye praised the team for making UDS proud and assured them of managementβs support in their endeavours. He also admonished them to take their studies seriously, as being sports men and women was not an excuse for poor academic performance.
